Lets talk about…
THE BIRDS AND BEES
PCNPT has launched a new campaign aimed at enhancing habitats throughout the National Park to support the diverse wildlife that inhabits this beautiful region of Wales. Our National Park is ecologically one of the richest and most diverse parts of Wales and is recognised as of international importance for a wide range of high-quality habitats and rare species…
but it’s under threat.
WE NEED YOUR HELP
Lets talk about…The Birds and the Bees
The Shrill Carder bee is one of the most threatened bumblebees in the UK. In Pembrokeshire we have one of the last surviving populations, largely due to our flower-rich coastal habitats. Since 1994, the Yellowhammer population in Wales has decreased by 30% due to loss of habitat and farmland no longer providing the seeds the birds once thrived on. In Pembrokeshire, Yellowhammers have declined by over 90% in the last 40 years.
These are just two of the bird and bee species that need your help.
Our environment is fragile, in decline and needs our help more than ever. Whether Pembrokeshire is your home or your home from home, help us to protect our National Park for future generations.

COASTAL PATHS

With rising maintenance costs and decreasing funding, our beautiful trails are at risk. We urgently need your help to fund essential repairs. Your support will enable us to rebuild bridges, realign trails, protect ancient monuments, and safeguard beaches from erosion. Together, we can make a difference!
