Katie Macro
Director
Katie joined the Pembrokeshire Coast Charitable Trust in February of 2023. Having previously worked for a national Welsh charity, Katie has experience in a variety of fundraising specialisms, from community fundraising, major donor stewardship to grants and trusts and event management. Having grown up in Pembrokeshire and still residing in the county, Katie holds a real passion for the National Park and is excited to create campaigns and opportunities to enable the Trust to continue its work in supporting the National Park.

Anna Elliott
External Funding Officer
Anna joined the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Trust as External Funding Officer in August 2023. Anna previously worked for a Pembrokeshire based marine conservation charity and was responsible for sourcing and managing grants. As an Environmental Biologist and with a background in marine biology and funding, Anna believes that she will be able to use her skills to support the work of PCNPT. Anna is passionate about conservation and the beautiful Pembrokeshire coastline and she is excited to help conserve the National Park for future generations to enjoy.

Jamie Owen
Patron
Pembrokeshire-born broadcaster, journalist and author Jamie Owen is the Europe anchor of the international TV News channel CGTN in London. Previously he worked for TRT World in Istanbul and was one of the longest serving broadcasters of BBC Wales Today. On becoming Patron of the Trust he said: “I feel privileged to have been able to explore every corner of the National Park’s landscape over the years, from childhood walks on the beaches of South Pembrokeshire, to walking in the rugged hills of the north and travelling to the offshore islands. It’s easy to forget about the work that goes into looking after these special places, which is why I’m happy to support this new charity, that will fund essential projects that will give more people opportunities to experience the places and adventures I’ve been lucky enough to encounter.”

Duncan Fitzwilliams
Trustee
Duncan grew up in Cardiganshire and North Pembrokeshire. In retirement he has returned to live in Newport. His career began in investment management. In 1970 he jointly founded CASE PLC where he was Chair. After 1980 his focus was venture capital and investment banking. He has sat on the boards of many public and private companies including the Foreign and Colonial Investment Trust, AXA Fund Managers SA ( Chair of Audit Committee), one of the largest fund managers in the world, Hydra Ventures, the Corporate Venturing company of ADIDAS, and Quadrant Healthcare. Duncan is the committee chair restoring the tower and bells of Nevern Church. In 1953 he won the cup for coracle handling at Cilgerran regatta.
Gwyneth Hayward

Gwyneth was born in Bangor, Gwynedd and spent her professional career in education in the South East of England and the Middle East. Having returned to live in Wales in 2000 and now residing in Newport, Pembrokeshire Gwyneth is also a Founding Trustee of the Aberglasney Restoration Trust and has been a Welsh Government Member of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority (PCNPA) since 2010. Gwyneth was elected as Deputy Chair of PCNPA in 2016 before becoming Chair in 2017.
Paul Harries

Paul joined Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority as a Member in 2012. He was Chair of Pembrokeshire County Council in 2017-2018. Prior to becoming a Councillor he worked in the oil industry for many years, he is now an owner of a Post Office shop and a shop in Newport. He has lived for most of his life in the National Park and is a keen hill walker, climber and sailor with an interest in the biodiversity and ecology of the Park. Paul is a Pembrokeshire County Councillor representing Newport, Pembrokeshire.
Peter Walker

Dr Madeleine Harvard
Trustee
Madeleine is an environmental scientist with experience of working for voluntary and statutory environmental organisations, and as an academic, lecturing in environmental studies with research interests in conservation and marine and coastal management. She has been a member of a number of national advisory committees and Boards of organisations and charities in the fields of environment, education and heritage, including Natural Resources Wales, the UK Joint Nature Conservation Committee, National Lottery Heritage Fund Committee for Wales and Wales Environment Link. She is currently a Trustee of Amgueddfa Cymru-National Museum Wales, and a member of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority.

Andrew Cooksley MBE
Trustee
Andrew is an entrepreneur known for his leadership in education and business. As the Founder and CEO of ACT Training, he has guided the organisation to become Wales’ leading training provider over the past 30 years. Under his stewardship, ACT Training has received numerous accolades, including being listed in the Sunday Times’ “The 100 Best Companies to Work for in the UK” multiple times. Andrew’s passion for social improvement extends beyond business, reflected in his roles as Entrepreneur in Residence at Cardiff University, Trustee at Llamau and governor of Willows High School in Cardiff.
