Previously he worked for TRT World in Istanbul and was one of the longest serving broadcasters of BBC Wales Today. On becoming Patron of the Trust he said: “I feel privileged to have been able to explore every corner of the National Park’s landscape over the years, from childhood walks on the beaches of South Pembrokeshire, to walking in the rugged hills of the north and travelling to the offshore islands. It’s easy to forget about the work that goes into looking after these special places, which is why I’m happy to support this new charity, that will fund essential projects that will give more people opportunities to experience the places and adventures I’ve been lucky enough to encounter.”
