LIFEFORMS ART

PCNPT is excited to announce our partnership with Lifeforms Art, who have created a beautiful bee-themed t-shirt and are generously donating 10% of the profits to support our Birds and Bees project.

You can purchase one of these t-shirts by visiting their website here.

Lifeforms Art is the Hughes family from beautiful west Wales. They are conservationists and artists creating art to wear and share, to raise awareness for conservation and to celebrate nature. Sales of products support their ongoing hands-on invertebrate conservation and other conservation organisations.

All art is hand drawn, their ethically sourced organic cotton T-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies are hand screen printed too. They print to order to avoid waste. Inks used for printing are water based making the T-shirts extra soft and longer lasting.

Lifeforms Art choose the creatures that amaze, inspire, need a little more understanding and provide gateways for people who want to discover more about the amazing natural world.

Every day, they are inspired and thrilled by the beauty and diversity of nature around us, it is their mission to share the thrill and to help others in the ongoing quest to protect the living wonders who share this planet.

Gwreiddiau Roots initiative

SOUTH HOOK LNG

The Gwreiddiau Roots initiative, launched in 2020, is a unique collaboration between the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Trust and South Hook LNG, aimed at connecting children with nature through hands-on experiences. Focused on teaching about natural produce, community food networks, and local biodiversity, the project has grown to become a key environmental education programme for schools in the Milford Haven area.

Director of the Pembrokeshire Coast Charitable Trust, Katie Macro said: “We are immensely proud of the progress made by Gwreiddiau Roots in 2023 and are excited to build upon this success in the year ahead.

“By continuing to work with schools and organisations, we aim to inspire the next generation of environmental stewards and foster a deeper appreciation for our local heritage and natural resources.”

South Hook LNG provide financial backing to the project. General manager, Hamad Al Samra, stated: “Our partnership with Pembrokeshire Coast Charitable Trust is incredibly special. Through the Roots project, children are experiencing the wonders of our local environment, and at South Hook, we are proud to be a part of these memorable learning experiences.”

As the project moves forward, it will focus on the River Cleddau, using its rich habitats and biodiversity to further engage schools and communities, ensuring the continued growth of environmental awareness and stewardship in Pembrokeshire.
