Three local organisations have joined the growing Get Outdoors Partnership Programme, helping to make Pembrokeshire’s coastline and outdoor spaces more accessible and inclusive.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Charitable Trust is pleased to welcome ateb Trust, Port of Milford Haven Community Fund and Coastal Cottages Community Fund as new partners, contributing a combined £8,500.
ateb Trust has contributed £1,500 as a Supporter, while the Port of Milford Haven Community Fund has donated £5,000 and the Coastal Cottages Community Fund £2,000, both becoming Champions.
The Get Outdoors Partnership Programme supports the Outdoor Mobility Scheme, delivered by Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority with support from the Trust. The scheme provides free beach wheelchairs and all-terrain mobility equipment across Pembrokeshire. In 2025, the equipment was used more than 900 times by disabled people, older adults, families and visitors.
The programme has also been shortlisted for the Accessible & Inclusive Tourism Award at the Visit Pembrokeshire Croeso Awards, recognising its work to improve access to the outdoors.

Businesses and organisations can join the programme at four levels: Connector, Supporter, Champion or Path Maker, with different partnership packages offering benefits and opportunities to demonstrate their commitment to accessibility and wellbeing.
